American Home Shield is an American company which specialises in home warranties. A large part of their audience are people who are first time homebuyers or those looking to move to a new home.

We created a campaign that looked at where Americans wanted to move to both internally within the country and abroad. To do this, we looked at every U.S. state and major top 50 metros and using the Google Ads API, found search volumes for the term “moving to…” This meant we were able to find out which country and state each U.S. state wanted to move to, which city each metro wanted to move to, and which country each city wanted to relocate to.

We created assets for each of the data points, allowing journalists to pick and choose which data they wanted to feature when writing regional articles.

The campaign gained valuable links in regional areas that American Home Shield wanted increased visibility, including TorontoSun, Narcity, and Secret NYC.
